FlexElement provides a thorough inspection and evaluation of couplings and components to determine fitness for service.
This process typically includes the following key steps:
- Disassembly, labelling, and photographing of individual parts
- Cleaning of parts using solvent bath, bead blasting, and hand polishing
- Engineering inspection
- Dimensional verification, including contact verification on hub bores
- Material integrity testing using Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), dye penetrant, and x-ray, as required to determine fitness for service
A detailed report and quote for recommended repairs is submitted for customer approval within 7-10 days.
